Deduct the percentage from the "% Off Per Diem" column from the allowable
lodging per diem rate.
Domestic, non-contiguous and foreign per diem rate schedules are
maintained by the U.S. General Services
Administration and U.S. Department of State web servers.
1.) DOMESTIC per diem schedule includes the 48 contiguous
states
and
the District of Columbia.
2.) NON-CONTIGUOUS
per diem schedule includes Alaska, Hawaii,
and other
U.S. territories.
- Add the "local incidental" and the "local meal"
rates to compute the
allowable total daily meal rate.
- The breakdown for the non-contiguous
daily meal rate
is
25% breakfast, 30% lunch, and 45% dinner.
- Note: This site may also be use for the domestic
and
foreign per diem
schedules rather than the sites listed in #1 & #3. However, you must add
the "local incidental" and the "local meal" rates to compute the allowable
total daily meal rate.
3.) FOREIGN
per diem schedule are listed in
U.S. dollars. Actual lodging expense must be
converted to U.S. dollars for travel reimbursement.
- Select the location then the appropriate month and year.
- Use the per diem rates in the "Other" column if
the foreign
location is not listed.
- The breakdown for the foreign meal rate
is
25% breakfast, 30% lunch, and 45% dinner.
