Smith Hall 10-M

General: Smith Hall (College of Arts & Sciences) houses offices for the Departments of History, Geography, and Slavic Languages and Literature. Included in this building are faculty, staff and student offices, instructional laboratories and classrooms. A computer instructional lab for Geography department students is located here.

Parking: Lot N22 is closest and has disability and wheelchair parking.

There is 1 wheelchair parking stall and 1 disability stall located on Skagit Lane.

Dial-A-Ride: Stop #63 is located on Skagit Lane near entrance #5 to Gowen Hall.

Stop #124 is located on Skagit Lane near entrance #6 to Smith Hall

Entrances: Entrance #2 to the ground floor from Pierce Lane has a ramp approach, a 32.5" doorway, and an automatic door with paddle controls.

Entrance #4 to the lower level of Classroom #120 from Pierce Lane has a ramp approach, a 31.5" doorway, and a pull handle; has a small vestibule and an inside door with doorknobs.

Entrance #5 to the ground floor from Skagit Lane has a slight grade, 58" exterior and vestibule doors each with two 29" door, and lever handles.

Entrance #6 to the ground floor from Skagit Lane has an exterior ramp, a 33" doorway, and an automatic door with paddle controls.

Elevator(s): Elevator #2 serves floors G, 1, 2, 3, 4, and M, highest button 38", Braille markers.

Restrooms: Most accessible restrooms for men and women are located on the 1st floor.

Fountains: 1st floor, 37" spout height, 2nd floor 41", 3rd floor 43.5", 4th floor 44".
