South Campus Center 17-J

General: The South Campus Center is the main student social center in the South Campus containing a major food service area, student game rooms, meeting rooms and study areas. A branch office of the University Bookstore, specializing in Health Science student needs, and cash machines are located here.

Parking: South Campus Parking Garage (S1) is closest. There are wheelchair parking stalls and disability parking stalls on the surface level and on level 2. The two lower levels are not accessible to Dial-A-Ride vans.

Dial-A-Ride: Stop #73 is located on Level 1 of S1 South Campus Garage.

Entrances: Entrance #1 to the second floor has a level approach, 32" (plus) doorways, and pull handles.

Entrance #3 to the third floor (ground level from Columbia Road) has a ramp approach, 32" (plus) doorways, and pull handles.

Entrance #16 has a ramp approach, a 32" doorway, and a pull handle.

Entrance #19 has a ramp approach, a 32" (plus) doorway, and a pull handle.

Notice: The sidewalk in front of the building at S1 is blocked by light posts.

Elevator(s): Elevator #197 is near the game room, highest button 55" and serves all floors, 1 through 3, Braille markers.

Elevator #198 is near the northwest entrance, highest button 55" and serves all floors, 1 through 3, Braille markers.

Restrooms: Most accessible restrooms for men and women are located on the 3rd floor.

Fountains: 2nd and 3rd floors, spout heights 39.5"-40.5".

Telephone: There is a pay phone and campus phone on the main floor. A pay phone is located outdoors by entrance #3.
