Vinyasa Yoga at the HUB

Starting April 3  •  Wednesdays 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.  •  HUB  •  $55*

This 10-week spring vinyasa yoga series is a dynamic heat building practice that synchronizes movement with breath. This class utilizes progressive and creative sequencing to build towards a peak pose that enlivens your body, mind, and heart. Cultivate physical strength, cardiovascular health, mindful awareness, and a greater sense of overall well-being. Some experience with yoga recommended. Register by March 29. 


Flow Yoga at South Campus Center

Starting April 1  •  Mondays 12:00 to 1:o0 p.m.  •  South Campus Center  •  $50*

This 9-week flow Yoga series is a medium pace practice that weaves together synchronized movement and breath with longer posture holds. This class emphasizes basic alignment principles and creative sequencing to foster greater mental clarity and awareness. Cultivate physical strength, reduce stress, increase brain functionality, and improve spinal health. No prior experience with yoga required. Register by March 27.


Meditation at the HUB 

Series A: Starting April 16  •  Tuesdays 12:45 to 1:15 p.m.  •  HUB  •  $30*

Series B: Starting April 18  •  Thursdays 12:00 to 12:30 p.m.  •  HUB  •  $30*

A practice that strengthens mental attentiveness and facilitates the ability to step back, take inventory of the present moment, and make more skillful and empowered decisions for the sake of a more centered, peaceful, and enriched life. This class utilizes brief spinal warm ups and various meditation focal points that provide a strong foundation for greater awareness. Increase mental clarity, improve productivity, reduce stress, and gain a more expanded conscious perspective. No prior experience with meditation required.

Register by April 9 for Tuesday Series.
Register by April 11 for Thursday series.


Deep Relaxation at the HUB

Series A: Starting April 16  •  Tuesdays 12:00 to 12:30 p.m.  •  HUB  •  $30*

Series B: Starting April 18  •  Thursdays 12:45 to 1:15 p.m.  •  HUB  •  $30*

This 25 minute progressive relaxation will support your body to release built up tension, let go of mental stagnation, and rejuvenate wholeheartedly so you can reengage with the rest of your day. Lay down, unplug, and simply be. No prior experience with yoga or meditation required. Bring a yoga mat, towel and any added layers as you will be laying down the whole time.

Register by April 9 Tuesday Series.
Register by April 11 Thursday series.


Yoga Series at the UW Tower

Starting April 16  •  Tuesdays 7:00 to 8:00 a.m.  •  UW Tower  •  $45*

Ground your day with a warm and welcoming yoga practice which leaves you feeling fresh and inspired. The instructor of this series uses clear resonant voice and lovely imagery to guide you through meditation and evenly paced yoga postures. Classes begin with a centering warm-up, move into Vinyasa flow (breath with movement), and complete with a final relaxation. Beginners through advanced practitioners are welcome. Please bring your own yoga mat (and optional props eg. blanket, blocks, bolster).

Register by April 16.

I wish there were more offerings in the evening.

There is really a 15.6% institutional overhead charge on cash? Why not post the total cost for credit card, cash or check?
