Husky Sports – Volleyball vs. USC: UWRA has a block of 15 seats for the October 3, 1:00 pm game. After graduating only one player from last year’s NCAA Final Four team, the squad returns with three All-Americans and three All-Region honorees, starting the season ranked fourth in the nation. Our seats are in section 8, rows 18 and 19. UW Athletics requires proof of vaccination (or recent COVID test) and masks for all events. Tickets are $10 each. You are welcome to bring friends. Fall Colors in the UW Botanic Gardens: Take a virtual walk through the fall garden with Ray Larson, Curator of Living Collections and the Otis Douglas Hyde Herbarium. Ignite Aging Symposium: Join the de Tornyay Center for Healthy Aging for their fourth annual Ignite Aging program. The symposium will feature UW School of Nursing students, faculty and alumni speaking on health equity and healthy aging research. The event will be held virtually over Zoom. 2021 Constitution Read-Aloud Call for Readers: UW Libraries is asking for volunteers to record themselves reading a portion of the Constitution. Submissions are due October 1, and the live event will be October 8. For more information, please see the Libraries webpage.
