History of UW Tacoma Lecture Series: Before and After UWT: An Interdisciplinary Look at our Campus History is an SIAS Interdisciplinary Seminar led by Kim Davenport.  Retirees (and the public) are invited to attend any of the sessions. After the November 18 (Founding Stories: Gathering Oral Histories of the UW Tacoma Community) and the December 2 (The university as developer: the unfinished case of UWT) presentations, please join UWRA Board Member Janet Primomo at 7 Seas Brewery and Taproom at 2101 Jefferson Ave for further discussion. Another way to be engaged with UWRA: In the New Year, UWRA will be seeking a new Board Administrator. This part-time, paid position (about 10 hours/month) attends UWRA board and executive committee meetings, prepares and distributes minutes, keeps board files, and assists in communications with the board. Much of the work can be done from home. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, who has excellent communications skills, and who would like to be more involved behind-the-scenes with UWRA.
