Sources of Financial Support
We are committed to enabling all invited students to join Phi Beta Kappa. Thanks to the President’s Fund for Excellence, we will pay the initiation fees for all students with demonstrated financial need. You may also view a list of departments that partially or fully pay the initiation fees of majors who are elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Finally, thanks to the generosity of individual members of the Chapter, additional funding is usually available to support students with need. To request financial assistance or for more information, please contact the Executive Secretary at uwpbk@u.washington.edu.
The Chapter gratefully acknowledges the following departments, which support PBK by sponsoring majors who are invited to join through a complete or partial defrayal of initiation fees.
