Access to central data in the UW’s Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) is coordinated by the Data Management Committee (DMC) on behalf of the appropriate Data Custodians. Data Custodians have classified the data in the EDW into different privilege levels and have created roles that govern access to the data.
To control access appropriately, the most suitable role is assigned. To find out more about what roles are available and the data available to those roles, please refer to the DMC Security Access and Roles
There are three general types of access to EDW data. Click one of the links below to retrieve the appropriate request form.
End users can run reports published on the Decision Support website or can perform ad hoc queries directly against the EDW.

System or Application
End users can schedule queries against the EDW to extract data into local databases. This access type requires users to have additional training and appropriate query tools. It also requires a separate Application NetID account.
