Business, Academic and Research Continuity (BARC) video from UW Educational Outreach

UWEM worked with UW Educational Outreach to advise and provide some basic consultation to them on how to help their department and units become better prepared to manage some kind of disruptive event to their administrative and academic operations. They put together a very well-done video describing their efforts to ensure their employees are prepared and their operations are resilient against disruption and efficient in recovery.

The program we offer, free of charge, to the UW Community is called “BARC” for Business, Academic and Research Continuity. It includes on-site consultation with our Certified Business Continuity staff (free) and access to a business continuity planning tool, built on KualiCo’s Kuali Ready Tool that we call “Husky Ready” (also free).  We also provide on-going advise, consultation and assistance, all free of charge as a service to the UW Community.
