Symposium social media toolkit
The Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium centers undergraduates’ discovery and scholarship in the University’s research, teaching and community-focused mission. The Symposium is a venue for the undergraduate research community to come together and celebrate and support the people who are the engine of the undergraduate research ecosystem: student researchers; faculty, post-doc and graduate student mentors; staff at all levels; undergraduate peers; community partners; and friends and family.
At the Symposium, undergraduates from all disciplines show the ways their research connects to issues that matter in our communities and contributes to the University’s role as a public research university. For students, presenting their work in the Symposium is part of the research process. Sharing new knowledge, answering questions and exchanging ideas with experts and novices alike advances students’ research.
Plus, hearing students talk about their research and the impact it’s had on their education and future is simply inspiring.
