Moments of Reflection

As Huskies come back together for the first day of autumn quarter, bells across the Seattle campus will ring throughout the day. The bells, a symbol of transition, will signal moments when each of us might reflect on the losses and sorrows of the past year and a half, and serve as a joyful celebration of our community’s return to campus. The UW is home to three separate sets of bells, each with their own unique story and traditions, including the Denny Bell, cast in 1859, making it the UW’s oldest artifact. On Wednesday, Sept. 29, we hope you will join those around you and take a moment to listen to the bells calling us into community as we move forward together.

Schedule of bells ringing:

UW Medicine / Student health resources

COVID-19: Up-to-date information about care and services

UW Medicine: A higher degree of healthcare

Hall Health: Your campus health center

At Hall Health, we provide exceptional medical and mental health care to our diverse student body as well as established non-student patients. Through all of our services, we work to promote lifelong well-being, achievement and resilience.
