Wellness & safety

  • UW Title IX information and resources, including:
    • A Guide for UW Employees – How to respond if you become aware that someone in our university community has been impacted by sexual assault, intimate partner violence, sexual exploitation, sexual harassment or stalking.
    • STOP Sexual Harassment – A brochure that outlines UW policy regarding sexual harassment and sexual assault and includes resources and reporting options.
    • Title IX Education and Outreach – Provides online training, including videos on:
      • “Preventing Sex Discrimination and Sexual Harassment in the Work Environment”  – for all staff, faculty, and other academic personnel (32 minutes)
      • “Preventing Sex Discrimination and Sexual Harassment in Academic Programs” – for faculty in the classroom and lab (30 minutes)
      • “Responding to Individuals Impacted by Sexual Misconduct” – for all staff, faculty, and other academic personnel (23 minutes)

Faculty opportunities

Simpson Center for the Humanities provides financial and administrative support for cross-disciplinary research, teaching, and engagement projects in the humanities, broadly envisioned. They support a wide range of activities, including fellowships, cross-departmental research groups, conferences, and community-engaged collaborations.
