The <strong>Notify Campus<\/strong> section is read-only and provides information about the action you are working on. The following image shows this section.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/sera_action_notify_campus.jpg\" alt=\"notify campus dialog upper half\" width=\"509\" height=\"210\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The data displayed are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Admin Action or Funding Action\u00a0Number<\/li>\n<li>Current Status<\/li>\n<li>Short Title<\/li>\n<li>Principal Investigator<\/li>\n<li>Sponsor<\/li>\n<li>Budget Number<\/li>\n<li>Budget Biennium<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The following image shows the <strong>Confirm Data Entry<\/strong> section.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-651\" src=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/sera_action_confirm_data_entry_section.jpg\" alt=\"confirm data entry section\" width=\"670\" height=\"772\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The editable fields are:<\/p>\n<table class=\"table table-bordered\">\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th width=\"30%\">Field<\/th>\n<th width=\"70%\">Description<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<\/thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Is Data Entry Complete?<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>This is &#8220;No&#8221; by default.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Comments<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>Enter any appropriate comments. These comments will display in the History for the action, and will be visible to OSP on the OSP Notes page.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Assign Item&#8230;to Location<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>This is a required field.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Attach&#8230;to the email<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>You can use the checkboxes to include additional attachments to the notification email. The file name, description, version and file type display\u00a0for each attachment.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Recipient List<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>The recipient list includes the Principal Investigator (eGC1&#8217;s PI), the Application Principal Investigator (eGC1&#8217;s Application PI), the eGC1 Preparer, Administrative Contact, Pre-Award Budget Contact, and the reviewers for the organization code receiving funding.<\/p>\n<p>The reviewers may be division, department\/center, or dean\u2019s level depending on the unit\u2019s routing rules. You can modify the campus notification recipient list if needed, as described below.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>Click <strong>Notify Campus<\/strong> to complete the process or <strong>Cancel<\/strong> to return to the action.<\/p>\n<p>The status of the action will vary depending on how you answered the Data Entry question.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If <strong>Yes<\/strong>, the action will change to Processed status.<\/li>\n<li>If <strong>No<\/strong>, the action will remain in Campus Notified status. A new <strong>Complete<\/strong> link will appear on the left navigation menu. Use this to indicate that you have completed the data entry and to change the action to Processed status.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Examples of the FA and PAC notifications are in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washington.edu\/research\/tools\/sera\/guide\/topics\/sera-notifications\/\">SERA Notifications<\/a> article.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Modifying the Recipients List<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This list displays the name, email address, and relationship\u00a0for each person included. Examples of the relationship would include Division Reviewer, Application eGC1 Preparer, Budget Contact. Each person&#8217;s entry also includes\u00a0<strong>Update<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Delete<\/strong> links. The following image shows an abbreviated example list.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-652\" src=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/sera_action_notify_campus_recipients_list.jpg\" alt=\"example list of email recipients\" width=\"609\" height=\"152\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Clicking <strong>Update<\/strong> allows you to change the email address of that person. An editable text box with the current email address appears, followed by a <strong>Save<\/strong> button and a <strong>Cancel<\/strong> link. You can change the address, and then click Save.<\/p>\n<p>Clicking <strong>Delete<\/strong> for a person&#8217;s entry will display a confirmation pop-up that asks &#8220;Are you sure you want to delete this recipient?&#8221; You can click <strong>OK<\/strong> to confirm the deletion and remove that recipient, or <strong>Cancel<\/strong> to return to the list with no changes.<\/p>\n<p>Below the recipients list is an\u00a0<strong>Add Recipient<\/strong> link. This allows you to send the campus notification to additional people.
