It contains the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Budget Name<\/li>\n<li>Budget Number<\/li>\n<li>Open Budget button<\/li>\n<li>This opens the connected SAGE Budget in a new browser tab\n<ul>\n<li>A list of the Period(s) connected with start date and end date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: When an ASR is routed to GCA and an award in Advance Spend status already exists in Workday, SAGE updates the first period and award line start dates based on a comparison of the current Workday start dates and the ASR start dates.<\/p>\n<p>The following image shows the <strong>Connect Budget Breakdown from SAGE Budget<\/strong> portion of the Budget &amp; Award Lines form section, with multiple periods.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1069\" src=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/ASR-ConnectBudgetBreakdown.jpg\" alt=\"Connect Budget Breakdown from SAGE\" width=\"569\" height=\"282\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Award Budget By Period<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>Award Budget By Period<\/strong> portion of the Budget &amp; Award Lines form section includes a tab for each period selected, with its description, and an &#8220;All Periods&#8221; tab on the left if more than one period was selected.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1075\" src=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/ASR-AwardBudgetbyPeriod.jpg\" alt=\"Award Budget by Period\" width=\"501\" height=\"121\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To the right of the section are three buttons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Expand Budget: opens the Award Line Details sections for the entire budget<\/li>\n<li>Collapse Budget: closes the Award Line Details sections for the entire budget<\/li>\n<li>Customize Details View: allows you to customize your view of budget data by toggling Object Class Details and Award Line Details on or off. Whichever setting is applied in the Budget and Award Lines section is also displayed in the Review section.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The following image shows these buttons with the Customize Details View expanded:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1726\" src=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/central_asr_budget_expand_collapse_customize_buttons-2.jpg\" alt=\"awards budget expand collapse and customize buttons\" width=\"494\" height=\"140\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As you scroll down to view the details of your budget, these buttons continue to be visible.<\/p>\n<p>The following image shows an All Periods un-expanded view with one award line:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1728\" src=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/ASR-All-Periods-unexpanded_view.jpg\" alt=\"budget all periods unexpanded view\" width=\"901\" height=\"571\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The first row is the Primary Worksheet.<\/p>\n<p>The first column, Worksheet \/ Award Line, displays the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Worksheet Title<\/li>\n<li>F&amp;A Rate<\/li>\n<li>Base Type<\/li>\n<li>Location<\/li>\n<li>Sponsored Program Activity Type<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Select the blue caret (&gt;) to the left of the Grant Number to open the Award Line Details section for an individual award line.<\/p>\n<p>The remaining columns display the costs for that category:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Total Direct Costs<\/li>\n<li>Costs Subject to F&amp;A<\/li>\n<li>Total F&amp;A<\/li>\n<li>Fees<\/li>\n<li>Total Costs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the All Periods view, there are rows for Budget Total, Sponsor Awarded Total, and Difference. The Difference is between the Budget Total Costs and the Sponsor Awarded Total. For a single Period, there is a Period Total row.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"central-obj-spend-cat\">Object Class and Spend Category Details<\/h3>\n<p>This section displays when the Expand Budget button is selected. It shows a breakdown of the ASR\u2019s linked budget amounts by the categories needed for Workday plan setup.
