For example, searching for &#8220;seatt&#8221; or &#8220;ttl&#8221; or &#8220;seattle&#8221; will find subcontractors with Seattle in their name.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1551\" src=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/AT_manage_subcontractors_search.jpg\" alt=\"manage subcontractors search criteria and results list\" width=\"514\" height=\"250\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Country<\/strong> is the standard SAGE list, with the United States at the top for convenience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Types<\/strong> are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All Types<\/li>\n<li>City of Seattle<\/li>\n<li>King County<\/li>\n<li>Local Government Other<\/li>\n<li>State of Washington<\/li>\n<li>State Government Other<\/li>\n<li>U.S. Federal Government<\/li>\n<li>Foreign\u00a0Government Other<\/li>\n<li>Tribal Entity<\/li>\n<li>School District Other (K-12)<\/li>\n<li>Foundation<\/li>\n<li>Non-Profit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Status <\/strong>is Active or Inactive.<\/p>\n<h2>Editing a Subcontractor<\/h2>\n<p>When you select\u00a0<strong>Edit<\/strong>\u00a0next to a subcontractor&#8217;s name in the search results, the Edit Subcontractor page displays. You can update any of the displayed fields except Active.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1731\" src=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/AT_manage_subcontractors_edit.jpg\" alt=\"edit subcontractor dialog\" width=\"516\" height=\"309\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Those fields include<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Name<\/li>\n<li>DUNS<\/li>\n<li>DUNS (+4)<\/li>\n<li>EIN<\/li>\n<li>Country<\/li>\n<li>Subcontractor Type<\/li>\n<li>Certification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Enter your changes and click the <strong>Save<\/strong> button to complete the process. The Manage Subcontractors main page will display.<\/p>\n<h2>Adding a New\u00a0Subcontractor<\/h2>\n<p>When you select\u00a0<strong>Add New Subcontractor<\/strong>\u00a0from the main page, the Edit Subcontractor page displays.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1728\" src=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/AT_manage_subcontractors_new.jpg\" alt=\"Adding new dialog\" width=\"526\" height=\"307\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For the Subcontractor Name, enter the full official one; if there is an acronym add it after the name in parentheses.<\/p>\n<p>Fill in the DUNS, DUNS +4 and EIN values, and select the appropriate Country, Subcontractor Type and Certification status. These are all required fields.<\/p>\n<p>By default, the Status will be Active.<\/p>\n<p>Click <strong>Save<\/strong> to complete the process. Click <strong>Cancel<\/strong> to return to the Manage Subcontractors page without saving.<\/p>\n<h2>Deleting a\u00a0Subcontractor<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>Delete<\/strong> button only appears to the right of the subcontractor&#8217;s name on the search results list if it is not associated with any subawards in SPAERC.
