Once submitted, you can update the Contacts information on the <a href=\"\/research\/tools\/sage\/guide\/subawards\/subaward-overview-page\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Overview Page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"adding_UW_contacts\"><b>Adding UW Contacts<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>When you select the eGC1, the system auto-populates the <b>UW PI<\/b> from the application. While the request is in Composing status, you can change the PI information.<\/p>\n<p>The <b>Subaward Preparer<\/b> auto-populates with the person who creates the New subaward request. You can change the preparer.<\/p>\n<p>You will need to add the <b>UW Financial Contact <\/b>before you can submit your request. Use the look up button to search for and select the appropriate person. The system will auto-populate the Name, Email, and Phone fields. Once you have added a person, a <b>Change<\/b> link will display.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"subrecipient_contacts\"><b>Subrecipient Contacts<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>You must add the name and email address for the <b>Subrecipient PI<\/b> (Principal Investigator) before you can submit your request. The phone number is optional.<\/p>\n<p>The name and email for a <b>Subrecipient Contact<\/b> does not display the required field red asterisk but this information is needed by the OSP Subawards Team for contact purposes. Include any other contact information in the Notes field.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"updating_contacts\"><b>Updating the Contacts<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>If you are a UW contact on the subaward, or have the <a href=\"\/research\/tools\/sage\/guide\/subawards\/subaward-access-permissions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Subaward Preparer ASTRA role<\/a>, you may edit the non-PI contacts for UW and the subrecipient. Only OSP can make changes to the UW PI or Subrecipient PI.<\/p>\n<p>Select <b>Edit Contacts<\/b> to make the contact information editable, as shown in the following image.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/subawards_edit_contacts_button.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-7718 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/subawards_edit_contacts_button.jpg\" alt=\"subawards contacts edit button\" width=\"628\" height=\"96\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The button label will switch to <b>Save Contacts<\/b> for saving your changes.
