{"id":65333,"date":"2026-04-17T11:00:40","date_gmt":"2026-04-17T18:00:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/research\/new-tools\/sage\/egc1-forms\/application-summary\/"},"modified":"2026-04-17T11:01:34","modified_gmt":"2026-04-17T18:01:34","slug":"application-summary","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/research\/new-tools\/sage\/egc1-forms\/application-summary\/","title":{"rendered":"Application Summary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You can access this read-only summary of the eGC1 from within the eGC1 or from the Approval Flow pages.\u00a0 It is designed to assist approvers by presenting essential approval-related information on a single page.<\/p>\n<p>For a comprehensive view of all data on the entire eGC1, go to the Approval Flow page and select <strong>View eGC1<\/strong>.\u00a0 A preview screen will appear which you can view online or print.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Application Details<\/strong> section includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>eGC1 Number: the system-generated unique number for the application<\/li>\n<li>Long Title (Full Application Title)<\/li>\n<li>Short Title: identifies the project in the financial system<\/li>\n<li>Last completed timestamp<\/li>\n<li>Requested Start Date<\/li>\n<li>Requested End Date<\/li>\n<li>Sponsor deadline: The last date the sponsor will accept the application<\/li>\n<li>Application Type: New, Competing Renewal, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Sponsor Name<\/li>\n<li>Originating (Prime) Sponsor, if applicable<\/li>\n<li>Org Code Receiving Funding: The ten-digit code for the unit managing the funding<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <strong>Principal Investigator<\/strong> section displays the name of the PI.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Activity Locations<\/strong>\u00a0section displays the list of locations where the research activities will occur. The values listed are: Name, Source, Location Type, and Rent Charged to Sponsor.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Space Planning<\/strong>\u00a0section displays the response to the question on the Activity Locations page.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>International Involvement<\/strong>\u00a0section displays\u00a0the response to the question on the Activity Locations page.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Budget &amp; Fiscal Compliance<\/strong> section includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The responses to the three Fiscal Compliance questions<\/li>\n<li>F&amp;A (Facilities &amp; Administration) Cost Rate<\/li>\n<li>A table of costs for the current budget period and the total for all periods for:\n<ul>\n<li>Total direct costs<\/li>\n<li>Total F&amp;A costs<\/li>\n<li>Total costs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <strong>Cost Sharing <\/strong>section displays the total cost sharing for all periods. This includes all amounts from UW sources (personnel and non-personnel), third party sources, and unrecovered indirect costs.
