The Advanced Search<\/strong> link on the My Approvals page displays the search criteria which you can use to find specific eGC1s or Advance Budget Requests.<\/p>\n

\"Search<\/p>\n

You can search on any single field or a combination of the criteria to locate items. More specific searches will return fewer results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Search Field<\/th>\nDescription<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n
Item Number<\/strong><\/td>\nEnter the entire eGC1 or Advance number with the prefix. For example, “A12345” or “ADV12345”.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Short Title<\/strong><\/td>\nEnter any of the words or string of letters contained in the title. You must enter at least three characters.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Full Application Title<\/strong><\/td>\nEnter any of the words or string of letters contained in the title. You must enter at least three characters.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
PI name<\/strong> (last, first)<\/td>\nEnter the last name, or the last name plus first initial, or the last name plus first name. For example: Smith; Smith, J; or Smith, John. You may also enter just the beginning of the last name as long as you enter at least two characters.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Sponsor Name<\/strong><\/td>\nEnter any of the words, string of letters contained in the sponsor name, or the sponsor\u2019s acronym. You must enter at least two characters.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Date Approved After<\/strong><\/td>\nEnter a valid date (mm\/dd\/yyyy). For example, enter 6\/1\/19 to display eGC1s that you approved after that date.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Date Approved Before<\/strong><\/td>\nEnter a valid date (mm\/dd\/yyyy). For example, enter 6\/1\/19 to display eGC1s that you approved before that date.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
My Approval Status<\/strong><\/td>\nChoose an approval status from the drop-down menu. eGC1s in the selected status will appear on the display list. Choices are:<\/p>\n

  • Approved<\/li>\n
  • Returned<\/li>\n
  • En Route<\/li>\n
  • Waiting Approval<\/li>\n
  • Watching<\/li>\n
  • Watched<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Item Status<\/strong><\/td>\nChoose an item status from the drop-down menu. Only Items in the selected status will appear on the display list. Some of the statuses only apply to eGC1s or Advances, as noted. Choices are:<\/p>\n

  • Routing<\/li>\n
  • Withdrawn<\/li>\n
  • In OSP (only applies to eGC1s)<\/li>\n
  • Approved (only applies to eGC1s)<\/li>\n
  • Returned<\/li>\n
  • In GCA (only applies to Advances)<\/li>\n
  • Processed (only applies to Advances)<\/li>\n
  • Awarded (only applies to eGC1s)<\/li>\n
  • Denied by Sponsor (only applies to eGC1s)<\/li>\n
  • Permanently Withdrawn (only applies to eGC1s)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

    Select Search<\/strong> to display the results list, which displays the following information:<\/p>\n

    • Item # – select this to view the approval flow<\/li>\n
    • PI Name<\/li>\n
    • Cost Center Receiving Funding<\/li>\n
    • Short Title<\/li>\n
    • Sponsor Name<\/li>\n
    • My Approval Status<\/li>\n
    • My Approval Date<\/li>\n
    • Item Status<\/li>\n
