The Annual Office of Research Staff Awards<\/strong> recognize the service and outstanding contributions of our colleagues across all research and administrative units in the Office of Research. Awardees are nominated by colleagues or managers, and selected by a committee comprised of representatives from each OR unit.\u00a0 There are six award categories, each aligning to one of the Office of Research Values<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Excellence in Research Support<\/h2>\n

Recognizes an individual or a team who go above and beyond in fostering administrative efficiency to support a world-class research ecosystem.<\/p>\n

  • 2025 – Josy Combs (OSP)\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    \n

    Integrity in Action<\/h2>\n

    Honors those who demonstrate ethical leadership, transparency, and fairness in their work supporting regulatory compliance and research integrity, especially in complex situations.<\/p>\n

    • 2025 – Christina Cruzen (ACO3Rs, WaNPRC)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n

      Collaboration Catalyst<\/h2>\n

      Celebrates individuals who build bridges across departments within the Office of Research or with other central units to enable more effective problem solving or support campus-wide research infrastructure.<\/p>\n

        Champion of Community<\/h2>\n

        Honors efforts to promote a research support ecosystem where perspectives of all researchers and research administrators are respected and valued.<\/p>\n

          Recognizes an individual who provides timely, effective solutions and builds trust through clear communication and a commitment to customer service.<\/p>\n

            For individuals who strengthen our partnership with academic units, supporting the culture of shared responsibility for research compliance, through improved systems or processes, education, or community building activities.<\/p>\n

              Vice Provost’s Choice: Collective Impact<\/h2>\n
