This crosswalk helps research administrators translate legacy FAS (Finance and Accounting System) object and sub-object codes into Workday financial classifications. These classifications include object classes, spend categories, and ledger accounts.
Following UW’s transition to Workday in 2023, financial transactions are categorized using Workday object classes and spend categories, replacing the legacy FAS system. However, SAGE still utilizes legacy object codes. This crosswalk bridges that gap by providing a clear mapping between the two systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
