NIH eRA Items of Interest - December 12, 2012

A Little Holiday Cheer

Now it is December, with much that is new,

The Holiday spirit is amongst us too.

To ring in the New Year,

We bring you new resources full of good cheer!

This winter we have videos to educate and inform

That are sure to help you stay cozy and warm.

We have one for the new Personal Profile

And we are sure this will make you smile.

Invites, Confidentiality Agreement, and Reimbursement for Reviewers,

After all they are the shakers and doers.

SOs and PIs can find Important Correspondence

All within in eRA Commons, and that is no nonsense!

Check out the videos with us or on YouTube,

We are sure these will improve your holiday mood.

All this is great and so much better as it comes in a new web wrapper!

Electronic Research Administration has a new design that’s quite dapper.

Where less is more, we have streamlined and simplified.

Process oriented schema makes ease of navigation amplified.

The “big picture” is there for you to see from application to closeout

With the design we believe you enjoy without a doubt.

If you are lost or confused fear not, new Online Help has been created,

Step by step instructions from the web or the Commons will make you elated.

Click on a question mark to get to what you need,

A simple action that will help you succeed.

With Help for Commons, Personal Profile, xTrain, LikeThis, ASSIST, and more,

You will find all the help you need or could ask for.

Lest we not forget, RPPR has moved to Phase II

This is a big step for reporting, it’s true!

With Training and Multi-Project, along with Single-Projects that are Complicated

All this info can make your brain completely and utterly saturated.

With a pilot of Non-SNAP reporting and now MYF required.

Check out the video and other resources so you don’t become mired.

And with the Help Desk I wish not to feud,

So I introduce Otis, a helpful little dude.

From the help page, he will lead you to a solution

And expedite your path to a resolution.

But like the 12 Days of Christmas, we are not done yet.

More changes and improvements are coming, on that you can bet.

So we will see you in 2014 for more success

As we continue to strive to bring you the best.
