PDF File Type Becomes Associated with Chrome File Type

A new issue regarding PDF documents has been identified. In some instances, Chrome running on Windows 10 will associate all PDF file types with Chrome. You may notice this if a PDF file which normally has a PDF symbol either next to or above it, is suddenly replaced with the Chrome symbol.

To fix this:

• Right click on a PDF file
• Click “Open With”
• Click “Choose Another App”
• Click “Adobe Acrobat
• Click “Always use this app…”
• Click Ok
