Non-UW Multiple PI Assurances – Update

Sponsors, including NIH, may allow Multiple PIs. NIH has an assurance requirement for each PI.

UW PIs and now UW Multiple PIs provide their assurances within SAGE when they approve their eGC1. However,  Non-UW Multiple PIs assurances are provided outside of SAGE.

To help reduce confusion, the Non-UW Multiple PI assurance statement instructions and an example template have been updated.

While OSP does NOT require Non-UW PI assurance statements to be attached on the eGC1, such assurance must be retained by the PI/dept. within local unit files.
