Estimating Future Fringe Benefit Costs in Proposal Budgets

As you prepare multi-year proposal budgets for routing and submission, you may choose to use the preliminary rates for budget years that begin in FY21 and beyond (see GIM 3).

These rates are available in the SAGE Budget Module as well as listed on the Institutional Facts and Rates page within the Benefit Rate Table.

All awards are made on estimated costs provided in the proposal and awards are charged the actual rates in place at the time of the incurred expense.
