Kristina Pogosian

Kristina PogosianA daughter of Armenian immigrants, Kristina Pogosian is passionate about organizing people towards meaningful goals. That is why she served as Tacoma Community College’s (TCC) Student Body President, where she facilitated cultural competency programs, served on campus advisory committees, and worked with TCC’s administration on strategic planning initiatives. By working with nonprofits to coordinate lobbying events, Kristina also helped pass bills expanding social services in Washington State, including fully funding the Washington State Need Grant. Kristina also served on the University of Washington Tacoma Services and Activities Fee Committee, where she helped analyze and approve the campus’s multimillion-dollar budget.

Kristina currently serves as the Chair of the Armenian Church Youth Association, leading her team members to organize events uniting Washington’s Armenian community. Kristina is a pre-law student at the University of Washington Tacoma, and she plans to pursue a legal career in international law.
