Questions about Pine?

After consulting the documentation, if you have questions or problems using, installing, or configuring Pine, auxiliary programs, or the system Pine runs on, please contact the support staff at your school/employer/Internet Service Provider.

You can also post questions about Pine to the worldwide newsgroup comp.mail.pine. You may find the answer to your problem through the searchable index of the message archives of the Pine-Info mailing list. Note, however, that many perceived "Pine-problems" may actually have nothing to do with Pine itself, but may be caused by problems in the system running Pine. Only your local computer support will be able to ascertain and correct the cause.

Pine is now used by millions around the world. Since we receive no funding to support anyone outside the University of Washington, we cannot respond to requests for assistance. Messages requesting assistance will not be answered.

While we welcome comments and suggestions, we regret that we cannot provide support to individuals who are not affiliated with the University of Washington.

To send us comments, bug reports, or suggestions for improving Pine or the Pine Information Center Web site, use the online form. As stated above, however, we receive no funding to support anyone outside the University of Washington, so outside messages requesting assistance will NOT be answered.
