Virtual events

We have re-imagined our Parent & Family events this year, rather than one Parent & Family weekend – we hope to have you connect with your Husky and UW Family throughout the academic year – in a series of virtual conversations with campus leaders and programs. Our events will be focused on supporting autonomy and encouraging a growth mindset in our Huskies. We will have conversations with campus leaders focused on resilience, wellness, career exploration and finding community – and how to support your student – whether they are with us on campus or at home with you.

UW Huskies vs. Oregon

Washington Warm Up presented by Alaska Airlines – Host your UW Family Virtual Tailgate
Saturday, December 12 at TBA
Before the Dawgs take on Oregon, we want you to join us for a globe spanning virtual celebration of Husky Spirit at the Washington Warm Up presented by Alaska Airlines. Cheers on our Huskies with your Husky — all from the comfort of your own Club Husky at home.

Our friends from University of Washington Alumni Association invite our UW Families from Seattle to Singapore who want to show their Purple Pride by hosting their own virtual tailgates. Hosting is simple. Choose your favorite video calling app, register through our website and invite your UW Fam to join you.

Once you register, UWAA will help you enhance your Husky experience at home. You’ll gain access to our exclusive pregame program including Husky Football trivia presented by BECU. You’ll also get a virtual goodie bag with special offers from UWAA partners like passes to the adidas and Columbia employee stores and big savings at the University Book Store, typically only offered to UWAA members. To top it all off, you’ll get digital backgrounds that will transform your living room into classic locations around Husky Stadium.
