“Path to Opportunity”: Continuing Education offers Scholarship for SE Seattle Residents for class on Python programming

Professional and Continuing Education is offering residents of Southeast Seattle a scholarship to participate in an introductory class on Python programming.

Foundations of Programming (Python) is a 10-week introductory technology course, approved by the UW Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering. Residents do not need any technical training or prior experience to enroll.

This course was selected to run at the Othello-UW Commons by Southeast Seattle community partners to give local people the opportunity to build fundamental programming skills. The purpose of the scholarship is to break down the barrier of cost and provide a path toward high-demand jobs in data or tech.
