Expertise: Flexible solar cells made with roller coating and roll-to-roll printing; hybrid thin film
Alex Jen’s research centers on the design and synthesis of functional polymers for photonic and energy applications. Jen has been recognized as a Fellow by MRS, ACS, PMSE, OSA, SPIE, and AAAS, and has faculty appointments in Taiwan, China, and Korea. He was on the Board of Directors of the WA Technology Center and is a member of the WA Academy of Sciences. He is currently provost at the City University of Hong Kong.
