Sound Studio & Digital Production Studio Equipment for Checkout

UW-IT and Odegaard Undergraduate Library provide various pieces audio and recording equipment for use in the Sound Studio and Digital Production Studio at the 2nd floor Information Desk. This page provides a list of these items, divided into 3 separate cases, with description. 

These items are for use only in the library in the Sound Studio or Digital Production Studio.

SOUND STUDIO CASE 1

IN THE CASE:

SNOWBALL MICROPHONE

SHURE PG48 HANDHELD MICROPHONE

A standard handheld microphone used for recording vocals or acoustic instruments. It is powered and connected via an XLR to ¼ inch auxiliary cable and plugs into any ¼ inch auxiliary port. BEHRINGER HPM1000 HEADSPHONES

DRUMSTICKS

SOUND STUDIO CASE 2

IN THE CASE:

SENNHEISER EVOLUTION E845 S MICROPHONE

A standard handheld microphone used for recording vocals or acoustic instruments. It is powered and connected via an XLR to ¼ inch auxiliary cable and plugs into any ¼ inch auxiliary port. The XLR to ¼ inch auxiliary cable is not provided in this case, it is in the Sound Studio Case 1. It is pictured for reference.

SHURE SM81-LC MICROPHONE

A small and compact microphone deigned for recording acoustic instruments. It comes with a boom clip and windscreen. It is powered and connected via an XLR to ¼ inch auxiliary cable and plugs into any ¼ inch auxiliary port. The XLR to ¼ inch auxiliary cable is not provided in this case, it is in the Sound Studio Case 1. It is pictured for reference. DIGITAL PRODUCTION STUDIO CASE
