IMA Reopening Visuals
COVID-19 Update
The Recreation IMA Building has reopened on a limited basis for students. You must make a reservation before returning to the IMA or the outdoor spaces, and we will remain open unless the guidance from Governor Jay Inslee changes. Please be sure to check our website regularly for the most current information on our status and the IMA Guidelines page for full details on how to register for a time slot, updated attendance protocols, and information on what you can expect during your visit.
Please continue to check UW Recreation’s website for updates and use the UW’s COVID-19 website to stay current. There are still virtual options available to students with the Rec Class Pass, Personal Training, Peer Nutrition Program, Intramurals, or UWild Adventures.
Upon Reopening…
We thought we’d share some images of what you can expect upon your arrival! While the building may look the same from the outside, there are a few changes you need to know about.
First, be sure to make a reservation before arriving at the IMA Building, and review the IMA Guidelines page to ensure you’re prepared! If you have questions beforehand, you can always reach out to us at recinfo@uw.edu, and if you have questions while you’re at the facility, feel free to ask any UW Recreation staff.
