The Leadership Blueprint: Be the Architect of an Extraordinary Husky Experience

The beginning of your college experience can be both exciting and overwhelming– there are so many places, relationships, cultures and knowledge to uncover, explore, learn from and enjoy. Through this workshop, sponsored by the Center for Leadership and Strategic Thinking and Husky Leadership Initiative, you will learn how to be the architect of your own unique UW experience. You will explore through games, experiential exercises and conversations with peers, faculty, and staff about how to build the foundation to optimize your experience on your journey through the UW.

Join Jim Jensen, UW alumnus, for a stimulating 2 hour presentation and learn easy, practical ways to make your college career successful, productive, and fun. What Jensen teaches does not require a leap of faith as the principles he will share with you are well proven by science and quantum physics.  Discover proven methods to learn the qualities and characteristics of high performance people.  Jensen promises to provide you with a springboard to learning and personal growth that you can carry with you throughout the balance of your life.

Jim Jensen began his career as a salesman with Encyclopaedia Britannica in his senior year of college at the University of Washington. He quickly rose to International Sales Manager, and by age 28 became Senior Vice President and CEO of Great Books of the Western World, a division of Encyclopaedia Britannica. Jim later became President and CEO of two additional companies that each became the leading company within their respective industry. Jim attributes much of the success of those companies to the management leadership and employees embracing many of the principles taught in his book. Today, Jim provides executive coaching, consulting, and advisory services to emerging growth and mid-size companies. He is an active member of the World Presidents’ Organization, and serves on the board of directors of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, Aspen University, and is Vice Chairman of American Global Health Group.
