Class of 2010 River of Lights

Senior Class Gift archive – closed fund

2010
The Class of 2010 attended the UW during a time of heightened awareness about the safety of our campus and the surrounding community. To demonstrate our commitment to a safe campus, the Class of 2010 chose to light one of our campus pathways as our Senior Class Gift – creating a River of Lights that would illuminate our campus at night.

The purpose of this endowment is to bring more efficient, bright and sustainable LED lights to a portion of the campus, thereby making the campus safer and leaving behind a legacy for the Class of 2010. Besides illuminating a shadowy area, these lights will provide other benefits on our campus such as creating more energy efficiency, promoting sustainability and maximizing our resources. The River of Lights has been installed and we thank everyone for their support.

Make a gift today to provide financial support to students at the UW!
