Class of 2006 Husky Statue

Senior Class Gift archive – closed fundSenior class gift 2006

We all feel Husky Spirit, but as we walked through campus, preparing to move on and up into the community and larger world, the Class of 2006 realized that our mascot was nowhere to be seen.
Because of the support of our class, the Husky Statue now stands as a permanent reminder of our time and experience at the UW. Even though our fields of study were varied and our futures undetermined, this gift united us as a class, as Huskies.

Our statue now stands in a prominent place on campus: directly in front of the recently renovated HUB. The goal of our graduating class was to leave a landmark as memorable as the cherry trees—The Class of 2006 Husky Statue. Together, we succeeded!
Whether you’re dropping your child off for their first day of college or returning for our 50th class reunion, our Class of 2006 Husky Statue will proudly greet you. Thanks to all those who helped support this project!
