Libraries Unbound

Libraries Unbound (previously Literary Voices) is the University of Washington Libraries annual fundraising event. The 2021 is cancelled due to precautions related to COVID19. We look forward to seeing you in 2022!

The name Libraries Unbound goes to the essence of the University of Washington Libraries — how we think, engage, dream and strive to create a world without bounds — a world with accessible, purposeful and meaningful information.

This fundraising event supports change in the Libraries and enables guests to be a catalyst for good as the University of Washington takes on today’s most intimidating challenges. As many of us know, UW’s state funding does not come close to enabling the University and the Libraries to tackle these challenges head-on.

This highly anticipated event features a a notable pacific northwest author.

One of the most memorable and moving part of the entire event is the “Raise the Paddle” where guests can pledge their support to the UW libraries. This time-honored tradition is truly remarkable
