The university’s new Provost and Executive Vice president Mark Richards began his tenure at the University of Washington on
July 1, 2018. He also holds a faculty position in the Department of Earth and Space Sciences in the College of the Environment. Provost Richards’ remarks are pending as he settles into his new position.
