Organized in 1992, the ChairScholars Foundation, Inc. has a national program with many students currently enrolled in colleges throughout the United States. Most of these students are wheelchair-users, but many have other serious physical challenges. Generally, three new scholarships are awarded each February for Autumn of that year. Each student presently receives $3,000 per year toward tuition and school expenses.
