Roger Bruland, DO-IT Mentor

Roger Bruland was a DO-IT Mentor for over a decade. Being a DO-IT Mentor was just one of the many ways Roger spent his time volunteering. He also helped as a volunteer firefighter, restored old photos for the Historical Society, and worked with the State Archives.

Roger was born in Bellingham, Washington and graduated from Bellingham High School. He worked for Boeing and served on the Washington State Patrol. Following his retirement, Roger worked as school bus driver, private investigator, health room assistant, security staff member, and secretary.

Roger fought a long and courageous battle against diabetes.
