International Husky Send-Offs

The International Husky Send-offs are the first official welcome event for international Huskies. The Send-offs are hosted by CIRCLE in collaboration with student organizations and other student leaders.

These virtual events provide an opportunity to connect with other huskies in your home country or region and cover vital information that you must keep in mind as you prepare to travel to Seattle. The events are hosted primarily in English but in some cases, there are opportunities to engage in other languages depending on the region and facilitator’s knowledge/comfort level with the language. When you sign up for a virtual Send-off, you will know if other languages are available.

Please note that you will need access to zoom to be able to join the send-offs.  Zoom is the same platform used for your Advising and Orientation if you are undergraduate students and for most of the virtual engagement at the University of Washington. Please visit this page for step-by-step instructions on how to set up your zoom account.

To sign up for a send off please visit this page.  Parents and other family members are welcome to join so feel free to invite them.
