Public service opportunity: Walk, Run & Roll for Thought Volunteer

Public service opportunity: Walk, Run & Roll for Thought Volunteer

Position title: Walk, Run & Roll for Thought Volunteer

Name of organization: Brain Injury Alliance of Washington

Position description:

Last April, over 400 members of the Brain Injury Community gathered at Green Lake Park in Seattle to not only raise funds, but to raise their voice against the silent epidemic of Brain Injury. They walked for Chanel, who suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) while hiking with friends. They ran for Edith, who suffered a stroke as a teenager. They rolled for Kate, who suffered a TBI after being hit by a drunk driver. BIAWA has supported these survivors and many others through the Washington Brain Injury Resource Center, Resource Management, community events, free Brain Health and Wellness classes, academic scholarships, and much more.

Like all of the events and programs at BIAWA, none of it would be possible without the help of our volunteers. Volunteers truly make the difference in these events and in the lives of Brain Injury survivors. We have many exciting volunteer opportunities available at the Walk, Run & Roll! Opportunities include registration, cheering stations, and more.
