Position description:

Apply your skills, build your resume, get internship credit, gain experience and give back to your community, as part of 501 Commons and United Way of King County’s Volunteer Impact Program Manager Corps.


Corps members help local nonprofit organizations develop and sustain effective volunteer practices.   They volunteer about 10 hours per week during the 9 – 5 work day, receive on-going support, and earn a United Way service award of $400 after 150 hours.  There are now openings with OneAmerica, the Food Bank at St. Mary’s, Sea Mar Community Clinics, Southwest Youth and Family Services and Keiro Northwest, running from February through May.


Interviews and acceptances are on a rolling basis so don’t wait!


Time commitment: 10 hours/week


Skill requirements: Basic office and computer skills, attention to detail, good listening and interpersonal skills and the ability to commit to 10 hours a week during normal business hours.


Start date: Feb. 6, 2017


End date: May 31, 2017


Location: several locations in Seattle
