Volunteer Manager Corps Program

501 Commons is now recruiting for the United Way of King County’s Volunteer Manager Corps. This 4-month program allows volunteers to apply skills, build their resumes, get internship credits, gain experience and give back to the  community.

Corps members help local nonprofit organizations develop and sustain effective volunteer practices.   They volunteer about 10 hours per week during the 9 – 5 workday, receive training and on-going support, and can earn a United Way service award of $400, depending on hours served.   The agencies will all be in human services, and now include applicants involved in housing, mental health, early childhood education and youth development.

We are recruiting volunteers now for a February – May commitment. Please ask anyone interested to visit to learn more and apply or contact Juli Forman at
