Position title: Civic Health Index Program Intern


Name of organization: Seattle CityClub


Position description:

Seattle CityClub is seeking an outgoing and detail oriented intern to help market – and educate the community about – our new Civic Health Index (CHI), to be published in March 2017. This groundbreaking study reports six metrics of community engagement in Pierce, King and Snohomish counties.


Our CHI Intern will assist the Executive Director in researching, designing and implementing a marketing plan and tools to publicize the study and its results in the greater community with the goal of building commitment to continue tracking civic health and boosting civic engagement.



Unpaid internship

Flexible 10-15 hrs between 9am – 5 pm; M-F

Skill requirements:

– Experience using Word and Excel

– Organized and professional

– Proficient in web research and the use of online databases

– Strong written and verbal communications

– Warmth and ability to connect with constituents

– Ability to budget time effectively and work on deadline

– Interest in non-profits, civic affairs and community impact a plus
