Our volunteers are a vital part of the Futurewise community and we appreciate each person’s time and contributions. As a volunteer, you will get to attend the events for free and meet people in the field, while helping us preserve our state’s natural resources and create equity in city planning. If you are interested in learning more about what Futurewise is doing in your community, enjoy helping out with successful events, and/or have an afternoon to spare we could really use your help!


We are especially looking for 5-6 dedicated individuals to help with our Annual Spring Luncheon. The Luncheon takes place on Wednesday, March 16th from Noon to 1:15pm in the The Westin Grand Ballroom in downtown Seattle. Volunteers are needed from approx. 11:00am until 2:00pm.


Volunteers will assist as ushers and greeters and help with registration, packet collection and clean-up/breakdown during and immediately following the event. We are also looking for volunteers to assist with a mailing the following day, Thursday March 17th, at Futurewise’s office in downtown Seattle.


Futurewise is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to promote healthy communities and cities while protecting farmland, forests and shorelines. Learn more at
