City Year is dedicated to helping students and schools succeed. Diverse teams of City Year AmeriCorps members serve full-time in high-poverty urban schools, providing high-impact student, classroom, and school-wide support to help students stay in school and on track to graduate from high school, ready for college and career success.


City Year is an educational non-profit organization that unites young people of all backgrounds for a year of full-time service. As tutors, mentors, and role models, City Year AmeriCorps members make a difference in the lives of children; transforming schools and communities in 27 US cities.


We are currently offering over 3,000 positions across the country to talented young people ready to serve and grow. They are paid bi-weekly and receive a $5775 scholarship. Visit to learn more!

11 months- July 2016 to June 2017


Skill requirements:

-Have a college degree or attended some college -Be able to dedicate 11 months to full-time service -Be able to join City Year by July 2016, start dates vary by location -Be between the ages of 17 and 24 -Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
