Use your marketing & communications savvy to help homeless youth!

Position Title: Communications Intern

Organization: ROOTS Young Adult Shelter

Position Description:

ROOTS is a homeless shelter for young adults located in the University District where we provide 45 beds, showers, laundry, and a hot meal to our guests every night. With this we hope to increasing awareness, donors, and our volunteer base. The communications intern would assist with everything from developing a strategic social media campaign, updating our promotional materials (brochures, flyers, etc.), helping plan metro & radio advertising materials, and assisting with designing and implementing a Street Team to build partnerships with other businesses in the U- District. This position would be a great resume builder for any communication or marketing undergrad.
