Love plants? Help out at the May Edible Plant Sale!

It’s time for Seattle Tilth’s May Edible Plant Sale! Come out to our festive annual gardener gathering, where you’ll find the largest selection of organically, sustainably and locally grown vegetable plant starts in the Puget Sound Region. It’s happening Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Meridian Park, behind the Good Shepherd Center in Wallingford.

Help out in all areas of this event to support Seattle Tilth’s programs and get local, organic veggie & herb starts out to the community. Volunteers help prep plants, set-up, educate customers about plant varieties, check-out, cashier, tear-down and much more. It’s a great way to spend a weekend! Multiple shifts/times are available both before and during the event.

As a way to say thank you, anyone who volunteers for the May Edible Plant Sale will receive FREE entry to our exclusive Early Bird Sale happening Friday, May 1 from 5-7 p.m. If you volunteer during the Early Bird Sale but still wish to take advantage of this opportunity you can send someone to shop in your place. Volunteers also receive delicious snacks to keep them fueled during their shifts.
