Administrative Assistant with TAF

TAF is a nonprofit leader in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education. We equip students of color for success in college and life through the power of STEM education. The Operations Team is looking for an intern to assist with administrative duties. The intern who fills this position should like contact with people. It’s essential that applicants to this position have excellent communication skills, demonstrate creativity, and understand the importance of attending to even the smallest details. Responsibilities • Greeting visitors • Providing support to staff members • Assist in setting up meeting space • Preparation and supporting functions at the site (events, meeting etc.) • Willing and able to assist with moving furniture • Receiving and screening calls • Assist with mailings, print production • Compile contact lists • Search for press clippings • Create or update databases • Updating key contact and information lists •

Skill requirements:

General Office duties as required Requirements: Those applying for this internship must be proficient in communicating over the phone, directly and in writing. Be a Customer Service oriented individual with a “can do” attitude. Intern must be flexible, patient, and willing to perform other reasonable duties as needed.
