Game Lab
A gaming center like no other on campus. The Game Lab features dedicated pods for competitive team and multiplayer computer games on powerful new PCs connected to super-fast UW Internet (No lag and high FPS!), new generation consoles (Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch), and an area filled with old school classics like shuffleboard, pool and table tennis.

Ping Pong Tournament
This past September, Area 01 hosted a ping pong tournament for students. It was a fun way to meet new people. Few things bring people together faster than a healthy sense of competition, and a game like this one built camaraderie amongst teams and crowds. Not to mention, the winning pair each got a Dabble Lab made trophy!
The event was a great success. There was a lot of energy from the crowd as students who were watching the games were waiting for their turn to compete. I anticipate there will be more ping pong tournaments in the future!
