This singular safari covers Botswana’s Chobe National Park; Zimbabwe’s dazzling Victoria Falls, and its private game reserve; and Zambia’s exceptional Lower Zambezi National Park, a remote, unspoiled preserve. Prepare to spot big game, see exceptional landscapes and adventure into Africa’s unique wilderness.


Day 1
Depart the U.S. for Johannesburg, South Africa.
Day 2
Arrive in Johannesburg

Upon arrival transfer to your hotel in the suburb of Rosebank.

Day 3

Meet your fellow travelers today as you embark on a tour of the Soweto district of Johannesburg. Tonight enjoy a welcome dinner.

Day 4
Johannesburg/Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Fly to Livingstone, Zambia, then transfer to Victoria Falls and your deluxe hotel located in the Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve. This afternoon see the thundering falls with its 300-foot-deep gorge and soaking spray; it is a wonder of the natural world.

Day 5
Victoria Falls

This morning we embark on a game drive to spot the elusive – and critically endangered – black rhino. Late afternoon we embark on a “Sundowner” dinner cruise on the Zambezi where we see wildlife on shore and in the water.

Day 6
Victoria Falls

Visit Victoria Falls town and a local village and school. In the evening, you’ll hear a fascinating guest speaker on “The Story of David Livingstone.”

Day 7
Victoria Falls/Chobe National Park, Botswana

This morning travel by motorcoach to Botswana and Chobe National Park. After settling in, you’ll embark on a game-viewing boat safari on the Chobe River, where you may see hippo, crocodiles and some of the park’s 450 species of birds.

Days 8 & 9
Chobe National Park

Known for its diverse terrain that attracts an exceptional array of wildlife — including the world’s largest elephant population, along with zebra, lion, giraffe, impala, wildebeest and buffalo — Chobe covers 7,270 square miles of protected parkland. During your stay, you’ll enjoy a combination of game viewing by jeep and boat.

Day 10
Chobe National Park/Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia

This morning you board a privately chartered plane for a short flight to Lower Zambezi National Park. Here in one of Africa’s last stretches of pristine wilderness, where you have the chance to get closer to the animals than anywhere else.

Day 11
Lower Zambezi National Park

A day of game viewing activities in this 1,600 square mile park on the southern end of Zambia known for its 100-strong elephant herds, unusually large prides of lion, plus buffalo, waterbuck, antelope, impala, zebra, crocodile, hippo, kudu, warthog, eland and leopard, among other wildlife.

Day 12
Lower Zambezi National Park

From the luxury lodge on the banks of the Zambezi, you have another day to engage in game viewing activities. Tonight you celebrate your wildlife adventure at a farewell dinner.

Day 13
Lower Zambezi National Park/Lusaka/Depart for U.S.

You travel by charter flight today to Lusaka, Zambia’s capital, where you have the day until your departure this evening for the airport and your overnight flight to the U.S.

Day 14
Arrive in the U.S.

Spend four days and three nights in Cape Town.
